Duliajan Dancer & Choreographer Rahul Gogoi Honored with Nrittyam Gandharva Award 2026

Duliajan: Bringing immense pride to the region, talented local dancer and choreographer Rahul Gogoi from Duliajan has been honored with the prestigious Nrittyam Gandharva Award 2026. The award was presented during the Sanskriti Sangam Mahotsav 2026, held in Guwahati on July 30.

Rahul, a resident of Hukuta village in Duliajan, is the son of Late Deepak Gogoi and Juna Gogoi. Over the years, he has established himself as a prominent figure in Assam’s performing arts scene, winning numerous accolades across the state. Currently, he is actively engaged as a dance instructor, competition judge, and professional choreographer.

Expressing his joy upon receiving the national recognition, Rahul shared that he prefers to let his work speak for itself rather than relying on titles, which is why he continues to put in relentless dedication toward his craft. He credited his success to the continuous support of his parents, mentors, and well-wishers.
