BJP Set to Release First List of Candidates for 2024 Lok Sabha Elections
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up to unveil its first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, with over 100 names expected to feature. This decision follows a crucial Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in Delhi.

The CEC meeting, which commenced at around 10:30 PM on Thursday, reportedly concluded in the early hours of Friday. In attendance were Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP’s National President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Organisation General Secretary BL Santosh, as well as Chief Ministers, State Presidents, In-Charge, Co-Incharges, and Election In-charges from various states.
Reports suggest that the saffron party is likely to announce approximately 100 candidates in its initial list. The BJP-led NDA has set an ambitious target of securing 400 seats in the upcoming general elections, underscoring the party’s determination and strategic planning for the electoral battle ahead.
